The natural beauty of the mountains, their breathtaking scenery and soothing peace and quiet inspire owners and dogs alike. If you want to top up your faithful companion’ energy levels ideally for a hike through valleys and over peaks, you can opt for a hearty recipe with this grain-free Alpine menu rounded off with fine mountain herbs and flowers.
The basis is succulent beef complemented by fresh potatoes and vegetables as well as apricots and raspberries to create a high-quality, colourful menu. Valuable rapeseed oil, the superfood coconut flour, linseeds and oyster shell provide essential fatty acids and natural nutrients. Fragrant thyme and aromatic sage as well as a composition of yarrow, marigold and camomile not only bring the flavour of the mountains, but also secondary plant substances, natural nutrients and fibre to your dog’s bowl.
This product is a complementary feed intended for occasional use (approximately once or twice per week instead of a complete feed). In the long term, a complete feed should be used instead. This is a legally defined term that can only be applied to feeds containing all the essential nutrients in the correct amounts. This means that the animal could eat this diet for its entire life without developing any deficiencies or excesses of nutrients.
Fat separation in beef and game products
Visible fat separation in beef and game meat occurs naturally. This does not result from fat being added deliberately. Instead, the fat naturally present in the meat separates more during cooking than with other types of meat. Seasonality also plays an important role, particularly with game products. Depending on the season, game animals accumulate different amounts of body fat. Consequently, the fat content of the meat may vary slightly depending on the hunting period. Sometimes the meat is leaner and sometimes it contains slightly more fat – a completely natural variation that reflects the high quality and natural origin of our products.
