Can dogs survive on their own?
Dogs can survive anywhere in a pack and even thrive. However if it's a rural area they need to be formidable in stature (like a Pit Bull) and hold their own. Dogs are meant to be in packs, they can outlive cats because they don't fight over resources, they fight together for resources.
